the crank and anything else which you have made easily visible. The major work on you part is pulling the engine, removing the pan and transporting to a shop. If, however, you want them to start looking at heads and camshafts, etc. then you are going to have to pay them. But to have someone come outside and look at the cranks journal surfaces and bearings... they will not charge you. +++++++ I would do what others have said: drop the pan and swap bearings and hope you are going to be OK. gordo
